christian mamas

so for awhile now i've been wanting to try starting a thread for christian mamas. i sometimes feel like maybe there's none out there on bg. it seems like most everyone on here is always saying how they don't believe in God or think christianity is stupid.
so...i'd enjoy getting to know some other mamas who have similar beliefs to mine. i think it'd be encouraging to see some others out there who have faith in Jesus and desire to raise their kids that way.

Raised in a christian home, my whole family is christian.

me too. i actually grew up mennonite. do you know what that is? when i got married tho my husband and i didn't stay mennonite. we go to a brethren in christ church right now. we're not sure if it's where we'll stay for good, but we like it for now.

Hi girls!I got married at 19, had baby #1 at 21, #2 at 22 and #3 at 23. Gavin turned 3 in September, Kaila will be 2 in January and Jared is two months. I would love totry foranother girl because I've always wanted a sister and want Kaila to have one but my hubby is happy with three right now. Both my husband and I were raised in Christian homes and encourage our kids to have a relationship with Jesus. It's important to us that they see the difference in having religion and having a relationship if that makes sense. So nice tosee other Christian mamas!

makes perfect sense to me. i think that's why so many people have this thing against God is because they think it's all about being religious and they completely miss the relationship aspect. i'm all about teaching my kids about a personal relationship with Jesus.
i'm 23 as well! i got married at 21, so you beat me to that one.   i wanna have a big family. dh and i were both raised in large ones. i have 7 sibs, he has 6.

I cant wait to teach my son about God and Jesus, and just religion in general.
I dont understand how people live their day to day life not talking to God. I really dont. Sometimes its the only thing that gets me through the day.
My friend passed away when i was 13 and ever since then, no matter what i had been taught in the past, that was when i truely felt that God was there. He was watching over me, because if he wasnt, i dont know how i would have survived.
It just so powerful to believe in something, and know you are never alone..
