I would too if I was being carried by my crotch. Bjorns are not good carriers. You guys should look into other ones. It depends in baby size and what you personally like but there are way more comfortable ways to baby wear for both mom and baby.

I speak pounds. Not sure how much that is. But look up the proper way to use a sling, so much better than what most think. I didn't use one with my first cuz I was scared of it. But now that I know how, I started at birth worn my second. There are also lots of other carriers. Look at mei tais. Those are my favorites for supported sitters. Or an ergo even. I am not personally a fan but they are ergonomical. It can get spendy. I an addicted to carriers. I will be getting two more with tax money making it 7 between two kids. One is a pass-along though that is going to a new mom for her unborn.

I have heard they were good too in magazines but think about it. It is fine when a baby is light but after a while it's putting all that weight on their crotch. It's gotta hurt. A good carrier let's the baby sit and supports it's thighs just like when you sit in a chair. does that make sense?

Can I just say thanks very much for this thread! It's nice to know I'm not alone, when everyone else says that I should be letting her cry in her crib rather than co-sleeping. Can't see the sense there - she doesn't sleep, I don't sleep, my partner doesn't sleep... WHY??
Anyway, just wanted to say thanks and it's nice to know there are others!

I don't co-sleep but i also don't do cio and i don't plan to. I let him fall asleep on me or i put him in his swing and he'll pass out without crying. He's gonna be 4 months. He sleeps in his basinett next to my bed. He's moving to his crib once we get new monitors.

ok, my DS is 4 months tomorrow, and we are EBF. Ive tried putting him in his own bed a few times, but he wakes up within 30 minutes screaming bloody murder. Right now the only way to get him to sleep through the night is in bed with me. Any non-judgemental advice on how to get him to start sleeping in his bed?
