Rolling over

posted 10th Nov
I know, I shouldn´t compare my baby to other babies, but I would still like to know when your little one rolled over completely for the first time. My LO is 13 weeks and he rolls from his back to his side but has no intentions to roll over all the way. Not from back to tummy and not from tummy to back. I always hear about other August babies rolling over already but than I remember when I was on vacation with two of my girlfriends and their babies (both 5 months at that point) neither one could roll over very well.

He is really strong with his neck and his legs.

May be a stupid question - but can we help them to learn it?
Sometimes when he rolls from his back to his side I will help him to make the final push, but I am not sure if that is acutally helping or slowing down the learning process.

Quoting J&JS:“ May be a stupid question - but can we help them to learn it? Sometimes when he rolls from his back ... [snip!] ... I will help him to make the final push, but I am not sure if that is acutally helping or slowing down the learning process.”

I helped my son. I showed him he COULD do it

all babies are different. My lo first rolled all the way over from back to tummy and then tummy to back at 16 weeks. She's 20 wks now and still kind of has a hard time from tummy to back. They all develop at different paces, but don't worry, it'll happen!
