water broke at 22 1/2 weeks.....

So this past thursday I was sitting at work, and I felt a gush, I seriously thought I peed myself, so I call my ob and she said to call back in a hour if I was still leaking. Well I was, so I went into see my ob, who still at this point thought I had peed and when she went to check me she knew right away that it was my water. So I have been on strict bedrest since thursday night, and then this friday I get admitted to the hospital until my sweet baby boy is born. So I'm hoping to last at least 12 more weeks in the hospital. Anyone else go through this, can you share your stories? And what you did to pass the time?

I hope everything is ok. my best friend went thru that. she was in the hospital till she was 35 weeks and then the baby decided she was ready to come out

Oh wow momma! make sure u bring a lot of snacks, a laptop if u have one and lots of patience lol

netflix- not only to rent movies and watch on your laptop, but also to do the instant watch ones too
knit
crochet
cross stitch
make baby blankets
journal a lot! start one where youre writing to your son too.

dont piss off the nurses, they will be your BEST friends, and bring you yummy food and fun stuff!!

I haven't been threw anything like that, but I wish all the best for you and your little boy. Keep positive & relax! Hope he stays in there until he's healthy enough to come into this world.

bedrest in the hospital is awful. I had to do it for weeks and I went crazy. All i wanted to do was just go outside and feel the wind and the sun and just smell something other then hospital air. I wish you the best of luck with everything.

Wishing you good luck! I was on bedrest for two months. It blows. Stock up on movies, magazines, books and just enjoy your 'downtime' as much as you possibly can!

Good luck sweetie, that happened to me but I was 28 weeks. I ended up delivering the day after I got to the hospital. But my sisters broke at 31 weeks, and she was able to hold out for a few weeks. Just get alot of magazines, some crossword puzzles.

Addison's momma, thanks for the links and the ideas!!

my cervix was checked yesterday and its completely closed, so I'm thankful and the fluid levels are still good. So I'm hoping he will stay in for awhile
