has anybody done this? and how'd it work out

I have an almost 8 months old daughter..My friend just had her baby and wants me to watch him once second semester of school sarts which is in janurary I think. Will it be hard takeing care of to little ones all day everyday? Mine will be 10months- 1 year old and her son will be 3-7 months old during the time id be watching him.. from 7am-3pm 5 days a week for about 5 months....Should I do it? I mean its money and obvesily nobody is hireig over here. But I don want my baby to get jealous or take away attention to her....What should I do? I need the money but i want to know what im getting myself into.

its easy, just get into a routine with them

i take care of my kids who are 11 months apart all da every day....you can probably handle it

It's not bad, it's great extra cash and you get to stay home with your child. That's what I've done since Dominic was born. Dom was a high maintenance preemie and I thought it might be too hard but it really wasn't horrible. From birth to 6 months I watched a 10 month old and 3 year old and now from about 12 months to 15 months I have been watching a 2 and 4 year old (different kids)

I was watching a 1yr old (walking) and my LO who was like 4-5 months at the time... not that long ago before they switched my hours at work...

I did it for free because it was my best friends baby... she would watch my LO for free so I watched hers for free.. plus her LO and my LO are cousins (her and my BD are cousins)

Maybe $15-20 per day?

well shes 17 i doubt she could affford that...but idk if its her bf or mom paying for it

You should probably talk to her about what she can afford but $20 is cheap for babies. My son would have been $300/week in daycare.

um yea you need to find that out,I'd charge 30 a day if she isnt providing food/snacks
or 25 a day if she is.

Here on base I charged 40 a day for 1 7 month old. Its for 1on 1 care vs a day care center
