Stretch Marks?

I've heard that stretch marks run in the genes of your family. Although, I was wondering would there be a possibility that I'd get them? My mother had 2 preemies, me and my first brother. She had me when she was only 26 weeks along, and my brother around 27-28 weeks. She didn't get stretch marks with us. Howevever, with my youngest brother she didn't get them til it was close around her due date to have him.
So would there be a chance I'd get them?

My mom has stretch marks all over the place.. I got a few on my butt cheeks and none on my belly... idk if that helps, but I thought I'd throw it out there, lol

Of course, there's always a chance. Hopefully you'll be one of the lucky ones who doesn't get them. But you never know.

You might if you go full term. I only had a couple til I was 36 weeks then they came with a vengeance  
Dont worry they fade fast. I'm pleased with my belly now.

sorry toots. yes. odds are, your mom hadnt gotten big enough for her size to get stretch marks yet with you or your brother.... but you never know=]

Well I'm hoping I do go full term. My mom had alot of complications with me and my first brother. She had an incompetent cervix, A.R.D.S, and she went into a coma before she had my first brother.

Iv'e heard its genetic too. So I dunno? I am 32 weeks and haven't gotten ANY. But I still have a little under 2 months to go, so we shall see. My Mom got just a few and my sister got a few- 10 days before the baby came!

My mom got stretch marks when she was a teen because she was in gymnastics & lifted weights... She never once got a single stretch mark while pregnant & she had 5 kids. I got completely screwed & have a BUNCH on my belly, so I blame my dad's side for all the stretch marks lol.

lol. well people on my dad's side have gotten stretch marks. so we'll see. i mean i wouldn't mind them. i was just curious.

Yes, she has a scar on her neck like right in the middle from the breathing tubes and etc when she was in the coma. She was in it for 14 days. But yes, it's been quite awhile and she is doing fine.
