You just have to remind yourself that it's their life not yours. Just congratulate them and be happy. If they are adults, they can make their own decisions. If you try to intervene it will just upset them

O I know, I was just asking if thats what it sounded like, cause its what it sounds like to me. She is one of my best friends and I am always happy for her as long as she is happy.

Who knows their reasons, it's hard to say for sure, but like you said, just be happy for her as long as she's happy
