Torn ((adopted at 2 days))

so this past year ive been really torn with something..i was adopted at 2 days old..my mom was 16 at the time and just couldnt do it i guess..idk..thats the problem. I wanna find her and see who she is and what she looks like and if i have any half brothers or sisters..but i am reallyscared that ill find out shes like a crack whore or hates me and never wanted to see me or something..idk what to do right now. Its been really eatting me up for some reason this past month and i think it has to do with my son turning one and that i was gonna give him up for adoption too..

this may be kinda a pointless topic but i just wanted to see what someone else would do or if u have adopted a child out what u would want as a birth mom or if there is someone else feeling the same way right now..

You need to find the agency you were adopted though, they should be able to help you

I'm pretty sure she doesn't hate you.... she made a great decision by putting you up for adoption. She wanted the best for you.

If she hated you she would have aborted*, not passed you on to a loving family.

I would find out in a heartbeat. But I'd also keep myself a bit guarded. She may not want to get into contact because of the pain it could cause. Best of luck mama, I hope you get what you want!

i doubt that she hates you or doesnt want to see you. most birth mothers give their child up out of nothing but pure love for that child because they know they cant give them what they deserve.
my dad was adopted and we found his birth parents, and they are wonderful. my grandma said that there wasnt a day that went by that she didnt wonder about my father.

i think you should go for it if you want to know, i couldnt imagine, i think i would feel like a part of me was missing if i didnt know who my birth mother was.
just be realistic about it, and realize that she may not want to have a relationship with you or be reminded of the choice she made so many years ago.

i didnt mean it in a bad way..i just know someone who was adopted and found her mom and her mom was heavy into coke

yea they told me whenever i was ready they will contact the lawyer and pay for everything..i mean i wanted to when i was 18 now ill be 21 in april and i feel like i waited to long i guess..

thats what im scared of is her saying no i dont want to see her for any reason..

Thats great they are supportive   I don't think you waited to long, better late than never if thats what you want to do. I didn't met my real Dad until I was 12, not really the same thing but i'm glad I did now

yea..idk i think i might talk to my mom about it again tomorrow..
i mean i guess even if she doesnt wanna see me or anything knowing im alive may make her happy..
