Marriage During Pregnancy

Okay, my parents have accepted everything with me and my fiancee and are now getting excited for their grandchild to be born. The thing is, my mother and father both would like me to be married before the baby comes. So we were thinking about March. What I'm trying to figure out is how am I ever going to get into a wedding dress!!!!! I'll be 7 months pregnant and probably looking like a big balloon <3 which I want. Does anyone have any advice on maybe what kind of dress I should wear for my wedding?

Go to the court house to get married and then have a big wedding later on. Just buy a dress that flows w/your body, not a tight fitting one(that would be hard anyway)

Why do you have to listen to your parents?

Just get married when you are ready, not when someone thinks you should. If you do it that way it might not work.

Look at my page, I was 5 months preggy. The dress would worked if my bump were bigger though.

Maybe just get married at the Court house of Justice or Peace for now, and after baby gets here and a few months down the line have a real wedding that way you don't have the dress issue and baby can be apart of the wedding!

You could always go to the courthouse and get married and than have a big wedding after the baby is here.

Hehe this reminds me, my bf said we should get married now and I told him.. Like fuck we're getting married when I'm pregnant.

If you absolutely have to though, I'd go through the court house and have a nice big one later when the child that caused you to get married can be involved.

we got married at the courthouse and had a reception type thing with all of our family in florida. it was amazing and so stress free. i wouldnt do it any other way now that i know how great it turned out!

Your getting married because you parents want you to be before the baby is born?! 

Ummm...I think you should do it when you want to....not because your parents are worried about an outdated stigma!

Wow, I never thought of the court house. Can you tell how crazy my mind has been? My parents aren't really telling us too they mentioned it and Paul (Fiancee & BD) decided that if I was ready he was. He already has a daughter who I would do ANYTHING for. He wants a family and says he couldn't picture it with anyone else! <3 My Goodness, Thank GOD he isnt a dead beat! 

umm....thats sort of like a shot gun wedding...sort of out of the window in the 2000's...I say way til you get married. Honestly marriage is not like havinga baby....sometimes when you are not a parent and find out your having a baby you can prepare yourself for the upcoming months ahead to be a mother. Marriage...you havr to wait until your TRULY ready...my mil wanted my SO and I to get married...I told her no...his whole family calls him my husband and my mother call him her sil....and even though we live together and have been even before I found out I was pregnant, its totally different if we take on the responsibility of being married. And some ofmy SO's family feel like we shouldnt have a baby and live together without being married but its our life and we arent ready for marriage...never allow someone...even parents rush you into marriage...that is something more than just mere living together or boyfriend/girlfriend

I think you should wait, but if you must like they said thecourthouse. Have your marriage there and have a wedding later is how I have heard it put before.

I got married riiiiight after I had my son so I was definitely not the most in shape...But I picked out my dress at 9 months pregnant... There are some really awesome ones if you look hard enough... Mine was tight on the top half of the dress, but flowy the rest of the dress
