you should wait to get married, it's a big decision that shouldn't be taken lightly... & I doubt you've been w/ the guy more than a few yrs, no?

I aint gonnA say nothing bad to you. My sister got married to her husband when she was 17 and pregnant and my brother in law and her have been married for 11 years on the 20th of this month. Not everyone is like this but not everyone is a fail either.

We were going to go to the court house and then just do a reception somewhere after to save money. It worked out so that we could do it all in one place but we want to do a big wedding later probly too. It just depends on what you want. Its less stressful through a court house lol

Yeah were just going to go to the court house, he's actually sitting right beside me right now and we were talking about it. Then in the summer we will just renew our vowels or whatever and have my dream wedding. We know what we want. Love is Love.

well I would say wait, not because you're a stupid ass or anything but because I also got married thinking I was madly in love, we were together & living together for 2 yrs. yeaa that really didn't work out very well. idk divorce sucks ass. & the fact you're 17... well that really is young, that's just not debatable. idk

Me and DH fell in love when I was 17. He was 22. We have 3 kids together, been together 9 years in Feb. and have been married nearly 7. It can work and you can be in love.
OP--Do what you think is right. Don't let anyone on here change your mind. They don't know you or your relationship w/ your SO.

I agree.
Big wedding later on is a great idea -I always wished I'd have done that -I planned our wedding in 3 weeks and still wish we would have just had a big ceremony later...
if you do end up doing it before hand -look into dresses that are slimmer around under your bustline and then flow from there down.
You could also try some sort of skirt and shirt set or hmm I don't know -but yeah -good luck! ~KP

i'd just make sure you live with him for awhile before making your decision. my s/o and i got pregnant at 16 & 19. We moved in together when i turned 17. And we waited the week after i turned 18 and got married. Living with someone is a totally different experience. Especially with a new baby. So my advice is live together (with the baby) first
