ovulation..?HELP!!!

when do u ovulate when u have a 26 day cycle.? my ff calander says next sunday so on cd 9 but i thoughtu 0ed on cd 14 or something...help please

that sounds right. It depends entirely on how long your cycles are and when you are ovulating.

Have sex every other day so he maintains a good sperm count. So if that calculator says day 9. Do it on 5, 7, 9, 11, 13.
Sperm lives for up to 5 days, though I read sometimes 7!

Most women ovulate 14 days before their expected period most of the time. However you can ovulate anytime during your cycle, or ovulate twice or not at all.

What are you doing to figure out when you ovulate? Basel body Temperature? Cervical mucus? Checking your cervix? Taking ovulation tests? Any or all of these will help you figure out when you ovulate (though the last one can get expensive).

i am doing bbt opk and cm i just got af yesterday i just was trying to get a better idea of when i may be 0ing should i start opk testing the day after af stops or a few days after or.. i dont know my first time ttc and im totally oblivious to the whole thing :-0

I didn't do the opk testing so I really can't help you, does it say on the package?

I kept track of my BBT (I really enjoyed doing that) but I don't think I'll be able to do that this time because I'm getting up a few times each night with my daughter so the numbers might be off (I'm not TTC yet, but hopefully in the next couple of months  ).

One problem with BBT is once your temperature goes up it's pretty much too late to have sex, or this is my understanding. Sperm can live for 3 - 5 days waiting for an egg and the egg only is available for insemination for 12 - 24 hours (or is it up to 48 hours?), so make sure you're having sex before you ovulate or just after  .

I think I'll pay attention to my cervical mucus most of the time, when it resembles raw egg whites it's time to have sex  . I also plan to pay attention to my body in other ways (noticing when my husband smells the best to me after he's worked out, when I feel like dressing with more skin showing, etc  ). I'll also keep an eye on the calendar to have some idea of when I might need to have sex.

Or you could just have a lot of sex if you have the time and desire  . I've read that every second day is best, but have fun with it, try not to make it a chore.

okay i think i am going to do the BD every other day!!! and CM and the BBT & i think i wil try the hubby smell good and dressing up thig i just got a book today called gettiong pregand it says that in it!! but i think and hopemy best bet and i ordered pre seed so it should be here monday and just in time to start ttc i hope i get a bfp in a month or soo i will be so exstatic !!!
