I know what you mean. My SO has his friends over hanging out all the time and they aren't different at all. I've probably only seen my "best friend" like 4 or 5 times since Madison was born and we use to hang out every day. I wouldn't go back to before for the world though.

Men do not have to change the way we dounfortunately. We realize our responsibilities once our bodies are involved... they can't relate.I have the same deal with my hubby.

Same here. But I'd give away all of my friends just to keep my son 
I'm just waiting for that one special mommy friend to come around. It will be best friend "love" at first sight ♥♥♥ Haha

Once you have a child.. you realize who your real friends are. I'm learning that slowly, I get jealous of my husband having friends but at the same time, I love my life and I wouldn't change it.

Ya he is the exact same, I just lost so much interest in all the shallow BS, you know? I have a handful of good mommy friends so iI shouldn't complain, but I hung out with a friend today and felt very ackward. She kept saying how much she doesn't want kids and would hate being SAHM and all I was think was how much I wanted to get home and see Ella

I know! It's crazy when your "Best friends" are no longer your best friends anymore. My best friend had a baby in August.. but we're on 2 different wave levels. She lives at home with her parents so she can kinda just have them watch Layla and go out. Where as I live 5 hours away from my parents and I don't have that luxury. She complains because I can stay at home with my daughter, and she has to go to work everyday. She complains that I have it easier because I'm married to my husband HAS TO be a father and just can't walk away like her bf/bd.

That would be really hard to relate to. My friends can't understand why I just went to college for years and am not working a high paying job. They think it's more impressive to work than be a SAHM. I actaully do need to start working at least part time but I LOVE staying home and would for years if I could.

I'm in the same boat.. my old roomie said.. why did you go to college to get pregnant right after and not have career.. she didn't say it in those words.. but I know that's what she meant. I get what she's saying, but being home with my daughter is something I wouldn't trade in for the world. PLUS my Husband is in the Army.. so its hard for me to have a career. Which is why him and I agreed after she was 6 months, I would open a home daycare.

Ya it's hard for some to understand why we WANT to be at home. A daycare is good idea! I'm working with my mom at her in-home daycare 3 days a week and bring Ella with me- it's been really nice to make some money and have her with me

I figure, I don't have family around so why not do something that I will enjoy and make money.

If you really enjoy being a SAHM you will love this career. The kids become like a little family it's really cute! Ella loves going with me
