posted 7th Nov
What kind of pump do you mommas recommend for moderate use? (Not occasionally pumping but probably not EP either.)

I'll look into those a little more, I saw that they were pretty expensive. But it's worth it?

If you're going to be doing a lot of pumping you will NEED a double electric pump. Medela Pump In Style Advance is the best, IMO.

I say they are worth it, but you can find it cheaper on Ebay, nothing wrong with getting a Used one, then buying NEW parts for it.. I am going to be listing mine on Ebay with New parts soon!! but YES, its worth the money!!!

I'm an exclusive pumper and i use the Lansinoh double electric...its only like 150 bucks and it works really well...its actually the exact same pump as the Ameda Purely Yours, they just make it for Lansinoh. The flanges are probably good for someone with larger breasts b/c i have a full C-cup and they're a little big for me. I use the reducing inserts to make it more comfortable since i have small nips too...and if youre going to be doing alot of pumping i recommend a pumping bra, that holds the flanges up for you so you can go hands-free. I just got one like last week and i dont know why i waited this long...now pumping is like hardly a chore at all bc i can do other stuff too
