Faster breathing?

Am I losing my mind or do we breathe faster when we're pregnant?
I notice when I'm un-pregnant I have a nice, steady heart rate going and my breathing is fairly calm. But if I actually sit and pay attention when I am pregnant, I notice it's quicker than normal.

yeah because your body works harder. your blood pressure is higher.
