Get her to tell the teacher! Then get the parents to call the school! They are really starting to get tough about bulling and hitting back is NOT a good idea!

If the little girl is hitting her I would tell her to defend herself. The parents should really go to the teacher though and tell her what is going on and if it doesnt get resolved tell your niece to beat the piss out of the little girl (JK LOL) But really the parents need to step in and have a talk with the teacher and if that doesnt work have a talk with the principal. Schools have a ZERO tolerance policy for bullying!

I would tell her it is okay to defend herself. But I would try to have it resolved before it came to that since she is only 6.

Growing up I was taught that-
If someone were to push me not to push back but to knock that little f*cker to the ground.   But I was also taught never to push or hit and only to defend myself.

If the teacher has failed to resolve the issue, then teach the kid how to sucker punch.

When they want to discuss why the bullying child got cracked in the face, then they can also talk about how the teacher could've prevented this, but failed to act.

This makes me think of when some girl in my neighborhood started shit with my younger brother ( He was 9; She was 16; I was 17)....... He tried to ignore her, and my mom spoke to her parents to no avail....My brother was a purple belt in karate, but he refuses to put his hands on a woman....So. I just solved it my way and kicked her ass.
