Dear MIL,

This is a thread for VENTING about shit your mother in law does to piss you off. Start your post with "Dear MIL," I'll start.... (Tee-hee)-------------

Dear MIL, What is it in your brain that makes you think this MATCHES?

A) Do i even need to say anything... I have actually taken this down & hidden it in the closet because it looks SO bad....& Yes she found it, & put it back up.
B) I can KINDA see where the color scheme is going with this attempt, but it's BYFAR the ugliest shower curtain i ever did see.

Why do you ask us to come and visit you all the time when you KNOW the drama that it will create?

Dear MIL,
Why do you think my 10 week old needs a bottle of formula and cereal? How can gaining 4 pounds in 6 weeks not mean he's getting enough from my breast milk? Why do you assume that because you had milk issues and gave your children cereal in a bottle at 2 months old and that they're "fine", that I need to do the same? You've never even SPOKEN to me, so how do you know my child isn't thriving off of my milk?

Why did you, after I picked it up myself and gave it to you, give my 2 yr old a raw shrimp and then think it was funny when he stuck his hand in his mouth?!

Actually, the valance is the ugliest thing, I like the shower curtain.  

I can't write anything bad about her. Now if this were 2 years ago, I could and probably have. We used to hate eachother. We actually got into a physical fight one time and I beat her up pretty badly. I could go on and on about the things she used to do and say. But why dwindle on the past. Ladies, I know they piss you off to no end, but try to smile and forgive their faults/ignorance/bitchiness/meaness, etc. One day, you may get close and they are gone in an instant. My MIL I mean really despised me and before she died, we made up and I went to see her everyday when her own children wouldn't. She actually dialed me of all people when she was dying. She was hallucinating and the ONLY number she remembered and voice/face she remembered was mine. It was a really scary ordeal. I hate seeing my husband be in pain over it too.

I am sorry we didn't get closertil' the end. I am sorry we hated eachother so long. I am glad you are not in pain anymore. I am glad I got to spend the time I did w/ you before you left this world. Your son misses you and so do your grandbabies. We will see you again someday.

i know we will get along fine (again) when we move out... until then i bite my lip & post on BG. My MIL is an ER nurse and eats NOTHING and smokes 3 packs a day... lives on coffee... my SO is a HUGE mamas boy, i know thats going to be ruff in the future.

lol..I had to do that sooo many times...

My mil used to sleep ALL day and take like 20 different meds. Like 4 of them were narcotics. She overdosed on Oxycontin once and went into a coma. She was crazy, she actually told me that it was my ex-SIL's fault when DH's brother beat the crap out of her. She also hit me in the back of the head when I was walking away. I only ended up fighting her after she did that 3 times. I ended up having a miscarriage shortly after that happened. I feel bad now for being such a bitch to her b/c I know she had a problem. But hey we made up.

I have several dear MIL but at the moment i am way to exhausted... i just have to feed my LO soon and dont' want to fall asleep before then cause i won't wake up...
