I wouldn't do it, you could hurt yourself or give yourself an infection... ew. That and I think it's gross to stick your fingers in your vagina! LOL

I left that for the dr lol my cervix was sore anyways from them always checking me at my appointments no way was i messin with it

No. You're going to get shit for this bc it's controversial... However I would do it if I knew I was already IN labor and was trying to stay at home as long as possible. Wait til you're closer to labor to try, make sure your nails are very short and your hands are VERY clean. And NEVER do it if your water has broken. NEVER.

No, and I wouldn't.

1) I'm squeemish about it, and 2) I don't want to risk infection or anything.

heres somethign I don't get.....if it's ok for you to have sex, which typically includes fingers, a penis, and a mouth(which is one of the dirtiest things in the world) and they never say you can't do any of that then why do they say thta putting your own fingers in your own vagina is dangerous? I mean, they even say it's fine to use toys and what not.

I think that's why I went into preterm labor.. I was fricken paranoid and kept putting my finger up there... NO and if you aren't going to listen.. wash your hands VERY good.. even latex gloves a good idea.
