Today I...

Took a shower.
Put on a bra.
Blow dried my hair (1st time in over 20 years).
Straightened my hair.
Fixed my hair.
Put on makeup.
Put on non-wrinkled clothes.

And felt good about myself for the first time in a long time. I hope to make this a habit.

congrats mama! i myself am trying to get into the habit of the whole makeup/hair cute clothes thing. it's hard but once you do it you feel sooo much better about yourself!

It's true, I was able to go out with the MIL and not feel ashamed or anything! And it really just took an hour. Which, if I wash my hair at night and let it air dry that would cut out like 30 min!

YAY!!! congrats! I can't go a day without make up or blow drying and straightening my hair  I'm kinda jealous you can do that lol

Well with my DH deployed and a high-needs DS...it's easy.   I was able to have help this morning.

lol well if my SO was deployed I probably wouldnt do what i do to get ready in the morning so I can totally understand that!

I've let myself go since I got pregnant really.   I hope that when he comes home he thinks I'm smokin'.
