WIC question..

So at my WIC apt on Friday, I just realized they printed me out formula vouchers already. Its Similac Advanced(sp)? But how do I know that is what my LO will be drinking? What if she needs a different kind? Will they print out other ones?

Im confused I thought I didnt get formula vouchers until after the baby was born..

Anyone know??

Looks like your babe is going to be drinking Similac Advanced unless she needs to be on something else. If that's the case you need a doctor's note.

Try it.. if there are complications and your baby cannot tolerate it, you'll need your LOs pedi to recommend another type of formula. WIC will give you vouchers for that one instead.

Hmm okay, hopefully she does just fine on it. I just thought it was weird I got them so soon.

Your welcome. Your lucky you got the checks early. The day I came home from the hospital, I had to run to the WIC office (at least they were open) and rush to get formula checks... THEN go to the store to get it. It sucked. It would have been awesome to have the checks before hand.
