I just got back from the ER

posted 7th Nov
I started having horrible cramping when I first work up. It was so bad it brought me to my knees in the living room when I made it downstairs to make the baby a bottle. Joe heard me crying and came downstairs and helped me over to the couch and I pretty much stayed there for the next few hours withering in pain. It wasn't until about 1 PM when I went to the bathroom and saw the blood. I figured that I was just starting my period but I also was a week and half late. And I've honestly never had cramps before during a period. It took a little bit of convincing from Joe but I went ahead and let Joe take me to the ER. The doctor that I saw asked me if there was a chance I could be pregnant and I told them that I'm waiting for the results of a blood test. They did the blood work at the ER which came back with a detection of hCG. I was then told that with the bleeding and cramping and low levels of hCG, that indicates that I'm having a miscarriage.
I don't know how to feel. In this past week and a half, I've been getting used to the idea of being pregnant again and having another baby so soon. I was JUST starting to get excited about the POSSIBILITY of being pregnant since I didn't know FOR SURE that I was pregnant.
And now, I feel a little crushed. I know that it may not be the right time for us right now but still, I just can't help but to feel cheated. And I'm mad. My heart just hurts.
