Transitioning from formula to milk question.

Okay so I am wanting to start giving my daughter just milk. She is 1 year of age now.
I tried giving her some today....just milk and she wouldn't have it.
Well then a few hours later she threw up and there was a chunk of what I assume to be curdled milk in it. What does this mean?
Also what is the best way to get her to drink milk? She's not attached to her formula or anything she only gets maybe 1 or 2 bottles a day of formula.

mix in formula with milk and wean her from formula like that?

I'd do 3/4 formula, 1/2 formula, 1/4 formula, with milk to make up the rest. do it over a week or 2.

Well I gave her 1/2 formula 1/2 milk and thats when a few hours later she threw up.

What i did with my daughter is actually added strawberry syrup to it for a while thenslowlystarted to give her less syrup until she would drink straight milk.

we started with whole milk but only because thats what my mom bought. i changed it to 2% and still use it. he was fine. he turned 1 on a friday and his party was on saturday. we were so busy with everything that we forgot about bottles and he had milk. thats how we switched.

Well tomorrow I think I will try to warm it up on a bottle. Cause I put it in her sippy cup--so maybe in the morning I will try to put it in her bottle. Hopefully it goes better tomorrow! Tomorrow is her birthday party so we'll try it then.

That party was fantastic! Couldn't have asked for a better one. She got lots of nice clothes and toys. She demolished her birthday cake lol. They had a huge sink at the hall we rented and it was perfect to put her in after the cake demolishin lol
