is this true?

my "what to expect when your expecting" book said this and i was wondering if it was true and anyone experienced this before?

Doubt it.

I had a pretty big appetite, and I had a girl. Sounds like another silly wives tale.

aaaaaaaaaaabsolutely not haha i gained 81 lbs with my first cuz i could NOT stop eating. She's all girl! lol

Was true for me... I ate non-stop when I was pregnant with my son.. I was hungry alll the time.
Having a girl this time and not very hungry at all.. gained alot less weight too... who knows

I don't believe that. I had a girl and I ate all the time, stayed hungry and I could eat way more than my hubby LOL

no. I have NO appetite and its def a boy

I eat non stop and im having a girl

I have to make myself eat. And still haven't gained any weight. I'm having a boy

Nah it's not normal. I have hyperemesis so I'm still puking and have like no appetite   I'm trying to make myself eat to gain weight it sucks! I want a huge appetite so I got an excuse to eat for once lol

Im going to be 30 wks in a couple days and i havent gained any either.....ive actually lost about 20lbs......and i dont have hyperemesis like kristen, but i do have to force myself to eat like she does

Weird! I have to force myself to stop eating lol im so hungry all the time

Not true....I had a girl and ate allllllllll the time. Gained 60+ pounds.
