It hurts

I went into L&D earlier for my contraction. I got checked, monitored, and sent home. Now almost three hours later I hurt so bad but refuse to go in. I was in pain earlier and got sent home so now I'm in twice the amount of pain and wont go in because of the fear fo getting sent home again. Not to mention I have bleed through 1 panty liner since then.

are your contractions getting closer together?

If you wanna labor at home (which is fine, IMO. Less risk of unnecessary interventions like pitocin) I would go hop in the shower. Make sure and go in once your contractions are 4 min. apart though... You don't wanna deliver alone.

I went in when mine were a min apart... and i had her 45 min later... so be careful because i was only in labor a total of 3 hours. and i didn;t want to go in and be sent home thats why i waited. labor progresses very quickly sometimes!

they have been the same 2-3 min apart. but im hurting so bad now.

i say keep by a clock and keep tracking how far apart they are...
are they regular though? like every 2-3 min apart?
if they get stronger and closer don't wait just go in because 2-3 min apart is not alot!

if i were you i would probably go in again. i would rather get sent home again then risk having the baby at home or on the way to the hospital. either way, good luck mama!

How much do you trust your DH/SO? Does he have short nails? Have him find an old tooth brush and wash his hands and scrub his nails. Google "checking your own cervix"
He can do it for you.
No I'm not nuts; it's not suggest before you're in labor, but it should be fine for him to do it now.
Has your water broken?

no my water hasn't broke and i dont think hes to willing to do that.

honestly i dont see how they can make u leave the hospital in the first place. I was only 2 cm dialated and my contractions were random. And it was so cold outside and i refused to leave the hospital. So they just admitted me and i had my daughter 9 hrs later (on nov 21st lol)

They don't have enough room at most hospitals to contain all the women who are in early labor.

yea i guess, but i honestly would just be sitting in the waiting room til somethin cleared out haha but thats just me cuz i was SO miserable (gained 81 lbs) and it was literally one of the COLDEST days of novlast year when i delivered and i wasnt about to waddle my butt back to the car in the freeeeezing weather just to have to come back later. but i was also 2 days overdue...so idk.
