wierd nipples (tmi maybe)

alright.. this is kinda wierd but,
last night when i got out of the shower i noticed my left nipple was peeling.. as in there where flakes of skin coming off.
ive been pretty careful about getting soap on them because it dries them out and it hurts.

and also, i just noticed that they are... longer? more pronounced? idk.. this might be tmi but it seems when they are hard they poke out like an inch long lol. and theyve never done that before.

Both are normal with pregnancy. I've had the flaking throughout this entire pregnancy, and my nipples have also become notably less flat. The increased blood flow has a part to play in both. Also pregnancy dries your skin out bad in general.

Welcome to pregnancy momma!! It's normal. They go back to normal once your milk dries up.

My nipples actually pointed slightly sideways due to the way I held the breast pump for awhile!!
