When did you start using level two nipples? Right at three months or how do you know they're ready for level two?

My daughters almost one and I never went to stage 2 nipples. She doesn't mind stage 1s.

Whenever she started fussing on the bottle.

When she can take a level two without choking/gagging

my son is 6 months old and still uses stage 1 nipples. He does just fine with stage 1's so why go out and by more? Plus, I just started putting formula in a nubby sippy cup once a day and he loves it! Hopefully the transition from bottles to a sippy will be easier.
