Best Food for Constipation

Ladies,

Taylor is 6 months and constipated. She pooped a hard little stool earlier.

Would carrots be okay to feed her for dinner? I'm going to go pick up some apple juice and dilute it also?

Any other suggestions?

You can add a little brown sugar to her food.

Karo syurp or apple juice will do it too. They also make a laxative for babies....it's w/ the Mylicon and that stuff.

ETA: I asked my doctor about this for my son and he said that unless they have those kind of poops for a week or so....it usually doesn't need to be addressed. For me, it's just very hard to see them in pain when they poop.

Yeah she still hasn't pooped except for that little pebble earlier... she keeps trying though  

I was going to go ahead with her normal diet tonight though.. and go pick up some apple juice and a sippy cup.
