Quoting Krystal & Baby O'Donoghue:“ RIght now I have my associates completed and am working on my bachelors...and yep...my pay will only increase my 30 cents when I receive my bachelors degree...SUCKS”
lol oh no! Well I know the benefits are incredible... retiring and such.... after years of working, your salary will be awesome... the beginning starts out shitty. One of my teachers was talking about this. He also said that he has never taken a sick day (only vacation time) and it accumulates and after 20 years of it... he could take off like 2 years in a row or something crazy like that.
Also depends on what kind of teacher you are. I know they pay (around here) extra $ for special education. They are desperate for math and science teachers. If you go just one more year after your BA.... earn that masters, you can be a professor if you want. (Like teach child psychology or early childhood education). Hours are extremely flexible (you can be an online professor and still teach preschool if you want to ) and pay is awesome. Not the same concept to sick days LOL I love the new financial aid towards teachers now, too...........
