Should I count this as AF?

Hi everyone! I recently posted earlier this week about light bleeding/spotting I had 8 days before my missed period. The light bleeding only lasted 1 1/2 days and I spotted tan for 4....just when I wiped. I had gone to see the Doc to find out what could possibly be going on since I am so regular and she told me to wait til the end of the week (until my ORIGINAL expected cycle) and see if it comes. She said she things I could be pregnant and that it was too early to tell so test again in a week (that will be next tuesday). She said that if im not pregnant then my period will probably show on it's original time. Well, it's not here yet, now 2 days late. Doc said for me to test on the the 10th, but I tested early anyways and BFN. My boyfriend and I are not ttc, however we only use the pull out method, which is ok for us. If a pregnancy did occur, we would be happy. So I guess my question is, if I have still not gotten my cycle, and I'm getting Negative tests...like snow white definite negatives, should I count that light bleeding as a cycle and move on? Or should I continue to consider something else could be going on? The doc office just said test again when doc told me to and if im still not satisfied with the results, then I can get a blood test. I'm so confused! I had a ton of symptoms, which is another reason I went into the doc, but things seem to have been going away now, not really any symptoms except "heaviness" in my lower abdomen, feels like I've been doing sit ups, some nausea after I eat, and tiredness. There were also no cramps during the light bleeding I had. Thank you!! Sorry if this is confusing.

well im not sure if you just want to "count" that asAF...
could be inplantation bleeding? i would say just test when the doctor says and if its still negative w/o a period, go in for a blood test.

are you finding yourself wanting a child more now that you think you may be? i hope you get the end results your looking for..good luck

  I would love a baby, it would be unexpected, but wonderful all the same. I have been trying hard not to get myself siked out with symptoms just because it could be a baby. It's so hard seeing those BFN's because I really feel like it's highly possible I am pregnant. Here's the dates
LMP- 10/15 (only lasted 2 days) and I have a 23 day cycle
breasts swollen, irritability, had a head cold for 1 1/2 weeks, moodyness....
then on CD16 - 10/30 (light light light pink/tan spotting just when wipe)
10/31- Light bleeding (enough for a pad, but not heavy like normal, and it was a different color)
11/1-the same light bleeding, but ended by the evening.
11/2- No spotting, no bleeding. Had sex around midnight, caused bleeding, but was gone after wiping away
11/3- doc apt. (no spotting)
11/4-11/6 (AF due on 6th) tan spotting when wipe
Today-ablsolutely nothing.

Thank you for your input, I guess I will wait..... I just feel like I'm making this abnormal bleeding a bigger deal than it is and I need to move on  . Thanks for letting me vent!

with dates and events like that, pregnancy seems like a good possibility!
i know what you mean about siking yourself out with symptoms. im doing the same thing to myself right now and i am currently late/missing? my period now! ha, hoping for a bfp, got a negative test two days ago but hoping it was just to early to test.

Mine is all messed up to!
My period came a week early last time on Oct 22.
Nov 5- went to the bathroom and noticed that I had a streak of blood with mucus on my toilet paper Me & my hubby baby danced that morning
Yesterday I started noticing brown discharge again, and I started my opk, so I went ahead and took a test and a bfn!
My periods have been messed up
They have been like this
July 15- cd 29 started
August 24- cd 40 started
September 27- cd 34 started
October 22- cd 25 started
They count out to 33 days, the last 2 positive opks I got was on
Sept 9 & Oct 13
my nipples have been sore for about 7 days
I was going to start using the opksyesterday, so I took one I didn't take one today, because when I went to I seen brownish red discharge, so I figure I'm on my period again, but Its only been 16 days since my last one started?
What the hell is wrong with me?

i didnt get a bfp til 15 days late! it could stil happen!

Were you testing everyday until you got your BFP? I have been testing everyday since I started spotting (only been a week and half) and I've been feeling like I'm been doing it so much, but I guess it's not that much? I just can't wait to find out! lol If I'm not, I would like to move on......and get back to my white mocha fraps ;)

no i tested then a week went by tested again and it was still neg. so i really thought i wasnt that my cycle was just playing games on me... a few more days went by and baught another test and sure enough it was there realy faint   good luck hun i hope you get a bfp
