posted 7th Nov
i know ive posted of this before
but they finally got the shot and i seriously was given two forms while i was there and i told them i want to read it and think about it even though i was sure before i wasnt gonna get it
there was this young girl at my doctors office alone and they told her basically its free and prevents H1N1 would you like to get it and she goes yea
i was like are you serious..i didnt say it out loud that be rude but they don't tell you any of the downs about how its first gen. and stuff
i got 8weeks left maybe less im not sure if i should get it
theyre sayin my doctor says hes for us to get it but ive seen his face and talked to him about it before it came out and im pretty sure he has to say that

you have every right to be worried about it especially since you are pregnant, but some people just assume if it is recommended by the dr. then it is the right thing to do and don't think twice about it. sometimes dr. are wrong and sometimes they are right. But you really gotta look out for yourself.

my friend has about 4 weeks left, and she got it last saturday. she's doing good so far. the only thing that came was a concern of pre-eclampsia but that was before the shot.

its your decision. no one in my house is getting it.

It isnt the short term effects people are worried about, it is the long term. This vaccine was rushed out in months. They dont know how it can effect long term health, esp long term health of pregnant women and their fetus'...

Its a small dose of a dead virus to build up immunity...its not a new way to concoct a vaccine.

I didn't get it. Trevor won't get it either. I just got over the flu. Not sure which one it was... I wasn't able to get to the Dr or take time off to do it. So.. I won't be getting either shot this time around.
My self diagnosis.... I have had either H1N1 and/or Seasonal Flu. I have immunities now.
No shot for us.

Plus... like everyone else is saying.. it's too new.
Vaccines and medication/antibiotics are WAY over prescribed anyways... It's just another way for pharmaceutical companies to make more money...
