Thanksgiving Vent!

So ... last year i said we were not traveling for the holidays nd that if anyone wanted to see us they could come to my house. Well sense then my parents have separated, so that plan is not going to work. i decided that instead of having to do 3 seprate things on thursday we would just travel my my dads moms on thurssday morning (an hour away) and stay untill about 3 and then drive home and go to MIL for dinner at 5 and then friday afternoon at 1 we are taking Irelynn and her cousins for Christmas pictures and thn i thought it would be a good idea to have thanksgiving with my mom and her side of the family so that way no one feels to rushed and like they arent getting a fair amount of time! Well BOY did i think WRONG! i sent my Meme (moms mom) an IM to tell her then plann (which my mother ok'ed) and she pretty much went off on me!! telling me that im am incosiderate of my moms feelings and think about what shes going to be thinking sitting at home while the rest of her family s together. well she was invited to MIL house and she was also invited to my other grams (although i dont blame her for not wanting to go there) but she said she will probably go to her friends house instead. My meme thinks we should ditch every one else and just be with my mom cause she needs her family right now .... WTF do i do!!

If you talked to your mom about it and she doesn't have a problem with it then I would just stick to your original plan..

I know how hard it is to have to go to so many different houses, it sucks! It's not going to perfect or ideal for everybody but at least you're making an effort to see everybody!
