green poop?

My son is 21 months old, I just changed his diaper and his poop is bright green! He had spaghetti for dinner last night, cheerios and a banana for breakfast and a hotdog and watermelon about a half hour ago. Could this mean an infection? Should I take him in, or am I worrying too much?

my sons's poop is green all the time now.. i think its just from eating mroe table foods and stuff...

umm dont know why it would be bright green...what did he eat all day yesterday?

my step-daughters poop is bright green sometimes but her mom lets he drink those nasty bug juice drinks from the gas station so its from the dye that her poop turns funny colors...doesnt sound like the case with your LO thought

no he didnt eat anything like that, I actually feed him only organic so unless he put something in his mouth outside that I didnt know about i dont know what would cause green poop!

did he maybe eat a crayon or something else with crazy green dye in it?

thats how i am...the girls only eat organic homemade things, but cant control what my step-daughter eats with her mom 

I wasnt trying to say you gave him anything like that just pointing out thats how my step-daughter gets it.

Did he eat lots of green veggies yesterday? Is it more like a lime green?

he might have eaten some of a crayon when i wasnt looking, I will wait and see what his next BM looks like to determine if I need to take him in

maybe try just calling the doctors office? that may help you determine what to do 

This totally happened to Ayden the other day. And he hadn't ate ANYTHING green... He had one more bright green diaper after that that was mixed with brown, but i'm pretty sure he just ate part ofa crayon. Hope that helps.
