I'm contracting about every min but lasting only like 40 secs. Every time I take a step down I feel her drop in a 1/2 in. And I'm in constant pain cuz it feels like m pelvis is being ripped in 1/2.

Every minute?? Go to the hospital.

If the contractions are consistant, go to L&D

Why aren't you at the hospital!!?? Are you planning on delivering at home?

Sounds like you should be on your way to the hospital.. Like 20 minutes ago!

When I got to the hospital with mine I was dilated to a 6 and having contractions every 30 seconds and had no idea!

If nothing else, go there and sit in the waiting room to see if they go away on their own, that way if they dont, you're already there.
I didnt have painful contractions until I hit transistion and at that point I didnt want to move.

Ditto! Go anyway! Take it from us moms who have experienced labor. They cant refuse to see you.
