latching help

My husband gave my lo a paci now she refuses to latch. What do I do?

Just keep trying.
If that doesn't work after so long try a nipple shield.

How old is your baby?

Take the paci away, and keep trying to get her to latch. You can try the shield, but take that away asap too... IME it compromised my supply....

This happened to me it was also the same time my milk supply was REALLY coming in &I guess it was causing my nipples to not stay hard &I used the nipple shield &still am.. I would use that as an absolute last resource, I can't get my LO off it &it's SUCH hassle to always know where it is &have it cleaned &makes feeding in public a pain &she also makes a mess with it!

She is 2 weeks old. I took the paci away and let her take a really long nap and she seems to have forgotten the paci existed. Hopefully she stays this way! Thanks mamas! If I need to get a nipple shield where would I go?

Target is a good place. Or you can go to your hospital where you delivered, and ask for one. I got mine that way.

babies r us, but if you plan on BF for a while i'd use it as a lastttt resort!!!
