when to expect fetal movement...

posted 7th Nov
Hey ladies... Tomorrow I will be 16 weeks and I was just wondering how soon I should be expecting fetal movement. My mom says soon... But its been so long for her I don't think she really remembers. Lol. But around 14 weeks I could've sworn that I would feel little flutters and a few mins ago I also thought I felt something but I just want to be sure. Oh... This is also my first pregnancy. I just can't wait 2 finally reach that milestone... That and then next finding out the sex!!!! Ugh... So excited.

Those flutters are the baby moving, and once you actually feel "kicks" you will realize that you have been feeling the baby move the whole time! I feel my babies move really early for some reason, my LO at 13 weeks and I felt this one already. My due date is not correct so the Drs think I am a couple weeks further than the dates show.

Is it a distinctive feeling or is it like "I think I just felt the baby move"?...lol. Because right now I'm having those I think feelings...

Everyone is different, but most women feel the babies by 22 weeks. I felt kicks at 15 weeks.

Aww!!! 13 weeks that's amazing. I guess I'm just really anxious because I don't know what to expect or how its all supposed to feel. right now I think I'm feeling little pokes...sometimes one sometimes more. But idk if that's the baby or maybe just me digesting.

It's probably the baby... The day I felt my little girl for the first time, I kept having these random muscle spasms that felt kind of odd for muscle spasms (they weren't lasting very long and were moving around my lower abdomen). About three hours after that I got three little pops and I just knew that it had been her all along. You'll get them soon, and you might even realize afterward that you've been feeling baby for a while now!

Ahh... I hope so. I just know it has 2 be him or her. I know I'm probably the most impatient person but I'm just really looking forward 2 being a mommy.
