Measuring ahead?

For the past couple of months I've always been measuring ahead on fundal height. It was really irregular at 34 weeks and I measured 38, at 36 weeks I measured 37, and at 37 weeks I measured 40 weeks? Could this mean I'm further along than I thought?? Or could the baby be big?

I measured 2 weeks ahead and had a 7 lb baby 2 weeks early

Sounds like you could have a big baby. My due date by my period was the 14th of Feeb but going by the size of my baby I was due the 8th. He was born the 6th and was 8 lbs 10 oz.

With this one my due date going by my period is the 24th but going by it's size I was the 14th now after an ultrasound It's the 11th. He weighs over a lb already and is in the 95th percentile just like my first born.

Either just a big baby or a baby that's in a funky position. I measured 3-4 weeks ahead with #2 and she was 8lbs even at 37w3d

it could mean anything really.

Weeks 32 & 33 or so I was measuring 4 cm ahead, which made my doctor go for the ultrasound to find out if there was too much fluid or a too-big baby. There was neither.

At 42 weeks my baby was 8 pounds 11 ounces, but my fundal height measured 40 weeks. So a "big baby" doesn't necessarily mean a big fundal height.

If your doctor isn't worried, you shouldn't be.
