What to give him for a sore throat?

My son is one, gonna be two in a few months, is there anything I can give him for a raspy/sore throat? When I went to get him out of bed this morning he was trying to laugh but he kind of couldnt. He almost has to scream to get a sound out of his mouth. Ive never dealt with this before unless it was a kid that was older and was able to take something for it like adults. Any suggestions would be amazing. Thanks.

Tylenol/Motrin. Some hot tea. A bath. Hot cereal for breakfast. Soup for lunch.

My16 month old is exactly the same and thats what we do...Theres nothing much else....I don't think..
