im so excited! he asked me thursday night. it wasnt a complete suprise cause we picked the ring out together but i didnt want to know when he got it. we have been talking about marriage for so long i cant believe we are finally engaged! we wanted to have a wedding before the baby got here but i dont want to be huge for my wedding so we would have to do it with in the next 2 months. so we are thinking about just going to the court house for now and then planning sumthing bigger in the summer or fall. what do you think? has any one else done this? any other ideas?

Thats my ring!! lol I have the same exact one!! They have a beautiful wedding band to match it!

Congratulations! My husband and I had a quick courthouse wedding on our way to the Marine Corps Ball last year, and won't be having our "big wedding" until we are out of the military (so it will be on our 5 year wedding anniversary). I didn't mind it this way. Getting married felt very intimate with it being so small, and I didn't feel any less special. And I love the fact that when we do have our big day we will have already been through so much, and really feel like we will appreciate the process so much more. Plus, we will be able to have our little one be apart of it now!
