c section mamas

So i had a c section 2 weeks and 4 days ago. and i was bleeding then the bleeding stopped 2 days ago so i stopped wearing a pad. well this morning i woke up and had some brownish tan discharge in my pjs. Is this normal ?

lochia, normal.

I never had any kind of real discharge after I had my c section. If it smells I'd call the doc. But you should call anyway and check it out. You're due for your PP checkup soon right?

Kinda like at the end of a normal period the color changes... yes, its totally normal

I had a c-section in August, and bled off and on for a couple months. Sucks, because you never know when to expect it.

I must be weird. haha I only drained the first day or so and it wasn't much. I never had to wear pads.

I bled for 3 weeks. It must also depend on how well they clean you out.

WOW! I don't know if I can do all that. They even took my staples out early and I still had nothing! haha I really must have been lucky.

yea you sound lucky lol.. i bleed for 2 weeks more than a normal period and i really bleed the first week whenever i would breastfeed because of the uterus contractions

Are we talking about the incision discharge or vaginal discharge? I'm getting confused now. haha

I bled vaginally for about 3 weeks but my incision didn't drain much at all. Sorry.

That's what i thought haha that your incision wasn't supossed to do anything and I kept reading ladies bled for weeks. Then it hit me..."Oh vaginal draining! Yes...ok. I got it." haha
