Frustrated...

I think I've created a monster.
I breastfeed my son with occasional bottle feeding when we're out in public and it's too hard for me to BF. I also cosleep and have noticed that my son sleeps a lot better with my boob in his mouth. He will lay there and just use me as a pacifier. I want to break the habit sooner rather than later.
Any advice on how to do this?

Are you wanting to break him of the habit bc you arent happy NOW, or bc you think it will be harder later?
If its the former, I say just let it happen. I dont know how old your LO is, but they dont start learning behavior until 4 months or so. Relax and enjoy this time, they are only this small once.
If its bc you arent happy with it now, then try slipping your nipple out of his mouth when he is sleepy, but not asleep, and replacing it with a paci. Thats what I started doing about a month ago, and it works really well.

I have no helpful advice as i did not breastfeed but i have co-slept the entire time and still do. Co-sleeping is a super hard habit to break for both you and baby. I don't see my son getting into his bed for another 6 months lol if you don't plan to co-sleep long term you might want to work on that now while you can.

I'm not unhappy with him doing it, I just really want to break him of the habit early so it's not a problem later down the road. I'm going to try the paci thing, but I don't know if it'll work, because he HATES it(i can't decide if that's a good thing or a bad thing). We'll see if it works though!
Thanks ladies!
I am worried about the whole cosleeping habit, but right now I'm more concerned with my nipples Haha. I have him napping in his crib still... so hopefully it won't be too terribly bad!
