If they are contractions, they keep getting worse. My doctor last time told me if its a contraction, you cant walk or talk. It was true for me. It felt like period cramps 29128982843x over and just kept getting worse.

Are you timing them?

time them.   That saying was true for me too. I doubled over when the contractions got really intense and couldnt respond to anything anyone said.

No, i havent timed them because they havent gotten to the point of being painful like you mommas just described. It's been constant belly tightening, and hurting in my lower back. I did for some, feel period-like cramps but nothing to make me curl up and cry. They've been happening ALL day, and if i can give an estimate, they're happening about every 5-7 mins. Is there a way to make them get stronger?

They dont have to be painful to be real in complete honesty.. My contractions in the beginning werent even noticeable. We only knew they were happening because of the machine. The pain kicked in about 12 hours into labor. I suggest timing them!   I was told if you have more than 4 an hour, to call the hospital. But since you made it to your due date, keep an eye on them to get like atleast 5-10 min apart before calling and letting them know.   Walking helps make contractions stronger definately. And it sounds like you might have back labor too. I had that at the end. HURTS!.. good luck! Keep us updated!

If they are BH, no and I assume you wouldnt want to. lol Everyone always told me to walk walk walk. Yeah, well I walked for two damn weeks overdue! lol

Im sorry but I believe it happens when its meant to happen. I know how frustrating it is though to be around your due date and you think with every new ache and pain "this is it! maybe!" haha.

Thanks and wow that sucks balls of fire if i get back labor. My back can't handle this weight as it is let alone pain lol. My mom had told me the same thing, that they arent always painful to be real but i didn't know if she was just getting my hopes up lol. I just felt one and i got crampy... now i feel like pooping?! I'll walk around the house for a bit.. my dog will accompany me
I'll update when i sit back down

haha oh of course it's gonna happen when the time is right. My boy calls the shots from here on out and i am willing to accept that   Its just annoying how these stupid pains will neither get worse or go away.

It's sucky, but early labor can start and stop for days before active labor kicks in.
I had painless, regular contractions 5 minutes apart for a good 12 hours before my first baby, and 24 hours before my second.

But when labor happened, I knew it.
the first one was 7 1/2 hours from the first time I said "OH! That was a contraction."
And my second was just under 4 hours.
Good luck and labor dust!!

Thank you. You've given me hope as all the other mommas on here have. I'm gonna try to sleep it off for now but i don't know if i'll be able to with this tightened up belly of mine lol. Hopefully this madness ends soon. Hopefully lol

They don't have to be painful in the beginning of early labor. I had my baby on Halloween but two days before that I was having constant braxton hicks which didn't hurt but they were very frequent and still uncomfortable, and then the day before I was having much more painful contractions very close together, and they just kept getting stronger and closer together until the day I had him. I actually waited at home for 7 hours of it and didn't get to the hospital until I was 4 cm because I kept telling myself it wasn't it just because they weren't regular yet.

It's probably because he is really really low. I had that feeling too and the doctor told me it was pressure from his head being very low. He also made my contractions 10x worse because of that (my doctor told me that the contractions I was having would feel much stronger thanit does for mostbecause of his position  !). Let me know if they start getting stronger and closer together, hopefully he iscoming soon!
