my stretch marks...

depress the hell out of me!   there a constant reminder of how fat ive gotten & how my stomach will never look the same (not that it was super great before or anything but this just makes it worse!)
i hate em so much i cry sometimes :'C especially when i see the pics of some of the girls on here who are far along in their pregnancies too but have stretch mark free pretty bellies =((

its ok, after you have your LO you probably won't feel as bad about them. I'm three months PP and my stretchies have really faded.

Don't be self consious about them. they are like battle wounds, and they will go away with time.

They look like mine! Not bad at all if you ask me. Some ladies tummies end up looking like they got stripes painted on them from top to bottom. That's gotta suck. I just wish I hadn't get strechies on my calves...

This was me a day before I gave birth. I was 41 weeks 3 days.

That isn't even HALF of my stretchies. I love them. I loved being so big. I was so GORGEOUS, now I'm just a ugly fat ass.

They aren't that bad cause they are a gift from your baby if you think about it. lol Not always a pleasent gift, but it's still there.

If you let them get to you, it is very hard on one's self-esteem. Most mom's get stretchies after having kids. There is nothing wrong with them.

In fact, I think a stretchy covied belly is just as gorgeous as one without them.

Sometimes they are even more gorgeous.

It all depends on how you view things.

Not to be a negative nancy, but you should start loving your body now. I complained, and was so depressed over my stretch marks when I was pregnant. Now that I'm 5 months PP, I still have weight to lose, but my stomach looks like a saggy sack of nail marks.

It's all worth it though, and once you get used to it, you realize it doesn't really matter what your tummy looks like.

Really? I had stretch marks on my stomach prior to pregnancy, imagine how awful i felt! I got slammed with the bad stretch marks gene... now 8 1/2 months into my pregnancy i've only gotten 3newsmall ones under my belly which i didnt even notice till my mom pointed them out last week... they dont bother me at all, its just something you gotta accept...

Yeah ever since I was like 12, I got them on the inside of my thighs, and love handles. I used to be so embarasesd, but realized they are no big deal.

only part i agree on but thats good for your confidence. i know id feel the same as op if i had them on my stomach.

oh, and a side note, I had NO stretchies throughout my whole pregnancy. they showed up after delivery. so even those mamas you are jealous of for their big bellies with no stretchies still probably went home with plenty.

Even the most fittest and healthiest ppl can get stretch marks.. my SO played football, basketball, and lifted weights and he has more stretch marks than me! hahaha

Seriously, you are putting too much thought into it. Those are not bad, AT ALL. They do fade. I wish I had as many stretch marks as you.

ive had them in those places too. when i was pregnant i had more on my love handles, towards the end of my pregnancy on my butt and boobs, and after i had my son random ones showed up by my belly button piercing, above my legs and other parts of my thighs. none on my belly though.
