then make a duplicate layer
then move the layer over the top of the original.
make it greyscale.
then select the eraser and "erase" the bits you want coloured.

My camera does it.   It's only one color though, but it's still nice. It also has a "kids and pets" feature that takes the picture QUICK.

You can get them cheaper on eBay. The new ones have 10 mp, maybe more by now, but if you get the one that has 8 or 6, you will pay soooo much less. (mine is 8, I paid $560 for a huge package deal from SunshineElectronics inNY on eBay, which included filters, 2 lenses, a carrying case, extra memory cards, tripod, etc.) Also on eBay if you can find an auction that ends at like 4:30 a.m. you probably will pay less.

And when are you going to need 10 mp? Really. Unless you will regularly make poster-size prints, it's just too much. jmo. I know a lot of people like to have the newest stuff.

Yeah, i think the new ones are 12. I could just be pulling it out of my ass htough. Im thinkig its 12. Its like 580.00 at walmart, but maybe ill check out Ebay if you get all those goodies. I like goodies. Thanks for that advice.

15.1. I was curious. But you would never need that. It's such overkill...they just have to make the new version "better" kwim??
