He's still really sick, but we're taking good care of it so he's feeling okay. We're alternating his tylenol and this cough/congestion/cold medicine, and using the aspirator as much as possible. Hopefully it will be gone soon!

You know they can't have anything like that until they're 4, right? The cold and flu meds usually have tylenol in them and parents were over dosing their babies by using both. Most are 4 years old, some are 6. Just be careful, you should always ask your pedi before using anything like that so that they can give you proper dosing instructions.

I didn't know that...Crap! I'll stop giving it to him then. I 'll just stick with tylenol. I figured since the box said what dose for under a year it would be okay. I'll call his doctor before I use anything else. Thank you!

You probably got an old bottle! It was taken off the market a year ago or so. I wouldn't worry about it too much though, if you've been giving it to him for two days and he's okay, you didn't hurt him  

Like, my pedi suggested a cough medicine and told me which one to get and dosing.. why he didn't write me a script, I don't know because it was hard to find it
