My baby survived...

So Julien officially survived the evil H1N1 flu. Poor baby. He was so sick and I spent 7 hours in ER last Saturday. They made me wait that long because nobody thought he was acting sick enough or something. Or maybe I didn't bitch as loudly about getting seen as the other mothers did with the older kids. I don't know. Either way it was chaos and there were so many sick kids. It was scary and heartbreaking at the same time. Luckily he got treated and other than a little bit of a cough, he's back to normal. Yay! I almost need a "I survived the Piggy Flu" siggy, lol. Anyone?  

So here are a couple pictures from tonight of my strong little guy!   (I could almost sing and dance with joy that he's OK. I was so scared this past week)

Awww poor Julien   I am so glad he is ok. You can tell he is tired in those pictures by looking at his eyes. I am glad he is better and I am also glad you were able to keep your sanity through all of it. Having a sick baby isn't fun.

He is adorable! I'm so happy he is well again.

Aw I'm happy for you mama! And look at the bright side, now you have nothing to worry about while the rest of us go completely nuts with hand sanitizer and lysol for the next few months! Lol  

awh, i'm glad he's okay! i cant believe they made you wait that long.. now 100 other people probably have it cause they wouldnt take him back and see him.

my LO was 4.3 months old when he got it   we had both of the flu's, it was horrible.

Yeah, he lost over a pound (which with him is quite a bit) and barely ate the entire time. Thankfully things are getting back on track. So I agree, sick babies are no fun. You had a sick baby too a while back, didn't you? How's she doing?

Yeah, that's what I keep telling myself. Of course, being the paranoid momma that I am, I keep thinking, "what if there's a new strain he's not immune to?" Ugh. Evil sicknesses.

I'm Glad that he is doing ok, I just went through that with my LO a lil over a week ago she was hospitalized for 2 days... scary to have to go through that with someone so helpless and innocent ...i'll be keepin your family in my prayers that its the last time you will have to experience that!

Wow! That must've been terrifying. The little boy in the bed next to ours in ER ended up getting rushed to another hospital with a better pediatric ward. I can't imagine how you must've felt. Is yours OK now?

she's doing Great now, she broke out all over her face after the nurse tried to give her meds, due to her freaking out, so with her broke out so bad, and a fever over 104, they wanted to make sure that she didn't have meningitis so they did a spinal tap, I think my husband, my mom, and myself cried as much as she did, turned out she had swine, so they treated her for that... THANK GOD that is Over!!!
