Teen pregnancy paper for school

So I have to write a teen pregnancy paper for my sociology class.. It sucks.. I have no idea what to say because I am a “teen mom” . but at the same time I’m also against it in the way that most teens TRY to have babies they can't support. Any help? Maybe if you guys don’t mind could I quote you on how you feel about being a “teen mom”?
p.s. I hate being called a teen mom that’s why the “ .

Iam nineTEEN,....& sometimes it's hard, don't get me wrong,..but life is amazing, I wouldn't change it for the world...

I was a teen mom. I love my daughter but I wouldn't wish the torn feelings I have on anyone. I wish I was smarter than I was at the time. I sincerely hope my own daughter will wait until she is financially and emotionally secure to start a family.

I can't think of ANY downside to waiting until then.

I'm not a parent yet, but I will be in December.
Even though I turn 20 in January people still look down on me for being pregnant and a "teen".
I wish I had done more to be more prepared for this pregnancy, even though I am married and do have insurance and all that.
I wish I would have known how draining it all is.

But I'm so glad it happened.  

I was 17 wen I had my daughter then 2 months later turned 18, all my daughter did was make my life better, ya it was hard and i raised her on my own but i wouldnt change my decision on keeping her for anything. shes my world.

Yeah me either. I definitely don’t regret my daughter she’s the BEST thing in this world. I just don’t know how to say that but at the same time say I don’t recommend it you know?

Discuss the programs/assistance available that help young moms stay on track and become successful while breaking the mold of societies stereotypes.

Not only would it correct common misconceptions about teen mothers, but might serve as a reference to others in the same situation.

You can say something like "It's the most amazing thing that's ever happened to me, but I wish I was more prepared to make it the best for HER."
I'm not saying you're not giving her the best.
I just know that if I had have waited, gone to college, etc, I would be able to give my son MORE than I'll be able to; and I think it's safe to assume it's like that for most other "teen moms".

Would you mind me asking you how it changed for the better? Like I understand that it motivates some people to get there act together.

I wish! I think that would make for a much better paper. But I have to write about the social issues of teen pregnancy and how I feel about it.

like before i did not care about nothing like i would just ask my parents for money go to the store get whatever. now i get money i safe it for what ivan an me need not what i want just thing likethat

Well, society's image of a teen mother is a social issue. Unless I misunderstood the basis of the paper, which is very possible.
