re: Teen pregnancy paper for school

I'm 18 and pregnant... only 16 weeks along... and I am excited about becoming a mom, but at the same time I wish I would have waited because I know that it's going to be hard, trying to work, go to college, and be a mommy.

I got pregnant at 17 and had my daughter at 18. In all honesty, i don't think being a teen mom is any harder than being a mom at any age. As a teen mom you have to deal with school and being a mom. If you become a mom when you are older, you juggle work and being a mom; not much of a difference to me. The only thing i find different/difficult is that it's usually the teen parents who struggle with money.

I am going to be juggling all three and I worry about whether or not I am going to be around enough. But I know that if I go and get at least an associates degree then life will be easier later on because I will have more money than if I just worked a minimum wage job. So for me... being a teen mom will be harder.

For some, yeah it is harder. I go to school and take care of Audrey, her dad is in the process of joining the marines.

Iam 21(since july)I have a 2 yr old born aug 26 2007 and a 3 month old born july 28th 2009 both boys and my fiance has a seven yr old.(fiance is 27) I would change being a teen mom. I love my children and truthfully glad i had them young that way i can keep up with them. i have a spinal disease by the time im 35 i maybe be in a wheelchair or well on my way soo for me younger was better but if your not ready be protected kids are hard and at times stressful.
