I made a cloth diaper!

and it actually works!lol
It has one layer of fleece on the inside, and two layers of flannel on the outside.
I used a microfiber insert inside it(because it's a pocket diaper
and then a cover on top. it was very trim which was a nice surprise  
inside fleece

She knows she's beautiful. She's like "that's right, I am cute!" LOL. Did you use a pattern for the diaper? I've been toying with the idea of making one but I'm sooo not crafty.

yeah I used the Rita's rump free pattern. Worked really well too.

Okay- I am a dummy when it comes to cloth diapers. I LOVE the idea of them and I want to know more about them!!

But, this sounds silly, sorry- why do they look so much bigger on babies than normal diapers??
Also... Is there lining/a liner or soemthing that goes on the baby first, and then that covers it, or do the babies just pee and poop right into that (the actual fabric?)

I sew a bit and I would try it if you said it was easy-ish...

From the look of it, you're better than I am. I can't sew a straight line to save my life...
But I would love some cloth diapers especially if I could be make them on the cheap.

I've made cloth diapers and the first thing I sewed when I got my machine was a CD they're fairly easy and fun to do lol
