TTC since October Mommies

Who has been tryingto catch the eggy since October and wants to share their story? Post here! 

My story:
Had my first child (son) August 21st, 2009.
Full time breastfed him and would of continued breasfeeing him now.... unfortunetly he passed away on October 7th, 2009 from SIDs.  
We desided that it would be a little easier if we tryed for a baby right away. Plus it would help us keep our mind of off the bad and focus on something possitive.
It was hard to even think about where to begin. I never got my period yet and was stuck in the middle of no where not knowing when to start testing for ovulation or worry abouta miossed period.
On tuesday I went to my OB since my period still havent gotten here and its been a month. He checked me and said my mucus was eggehite and stretchy and it was the time to do the do to try for another baby.
I did! And wed.. and thurs.. and today.. lol just not trying to miss the eggy!

Will be testin in two weeks =]

Please dont be sorry for me in this post.. I appreciate it very very much... i just dont want it to turn into a sympathy post.. I would like to meet mommies who are trying to concive and hear their stories on how they are persuing it!

I'm sorry for your loss. *Baby dust*

We've been TTC since June. We wanted our kids close in age (I had my daughter 12/16/0 . I am exclusively breastfeeding so my cycles have been irregular. Last month, my cycles were finally more normal and I was supposed to have ovulated on the 26th of October. I took an HPT this morning and got a faint positive!   Fingers crossed though because it was really faint and I'm not exactly sure when my period is due.

I am sorry about your loss! I can not imagine what youare going through

We have been TTC since July 2009 and last month was our month. I got a VERY faint positive Oct 28, 29, and 30. Then late 30th night I began bleeding and cramping very badly. After a trip to the ER the conclusion was an early miscarriage. The doctor said I do not need to wait a cycle as it was so early. We are now hoping to be blessed this month and for the baby to stick!

Hi, I'm Laura. I have two girls. Madelyn was born January 19th, 2006. Emma was born April 18th, 2007. They're a day off 15mths appart. Emma was 6 weeks early so we had the stress from that and I got pnd. Successfully weaned myself off my anti-depressants four months ago, and I feel great! We decided a couple of months ago to try for another one (at 2am in the morning, hastey decision, etc). We didn't get pregnant from that one time and decided no more kids. But it got us thinking more seriously and we decided we'd like another one. So I kept an eye on when i was ovulating which was last weekend, so we tried the last days of last week and the weekend and Monday. Fingers crossed that a spermy found the eggy!! It took us two tries with our girls so hoping it doesn't take much longer with this one. After I had Emma, I had retained products and a uterine infection that went un-noticed for 11 weeks, so am really hoping it doesn't affect it. My period's have been regular for the last year, so am thinking it'll be okay.
