complications.

While I was at work tonight, I got a call from the girl at my doctors office who pretty much updates me on everything. I was concerned for a while that the baby might have neural tube defects, because my mom went through that with her first pregnancy, and I have a lot of issues with chemicals in my body now. So apparently, everything is alright with that, but the placenta isn't giving the baby enough blood... The only thing they told me to do was to take 81ml. of asprin every night before I go to bed.

Has anyone been through this? or have more information on it, than what I have? .. I'm nervous.

I havent been through this personally but it sounds scary.. Im not 100% sure but this is my guess The asprin thins your blood so your body doesnt have to work to hard to get it to the baby.. The will probably just monitor you and keep a careful eye on the bub making sure he/she is doing fine in there. They will most probably induce you early if bubs isnt doing so well...

Yeah, it's to thin the blood out. I'm just worried since I'm already 17 weeks if damage has been done since I didn't know about it sooner. :/ I have a level two ultra sound coming up just to make sure everything is alright.
