Did you feel it?


I'm just curious to see how many ladies actually felt the needle and the tube and all that.

I know I did even amongst all the pain from the contractions!

No i was in too much pain..

the epidural insertion was a breeze.

it was the aftermath that fucked me up.

i couldnt stand up straight for a week and had terrible back pain. but shit, i'd do it again.

I got like.. a shock feeling both times. They tell you that you probably will.. For a fraction of a second, it felt like I stuck my toe in a light socket, lol.. not bad

I <3 the epi. it was a - fucking - mazing. i didn't feel anything  

haha i was having the worst pain of my life with those contractions. When i got the epi (that didnt even work) All i felt was some pressure in my hip


but i dont think that was normal
I was scared for it, but it wasnt bad at all

I got numbing meds beforehand so I felt nothing!

yes but my contractions were so severe from pitocin the contractions actually hurt way fucking worse than the epi needle. They were 45 sec. apart when she finally turned the pit off...  

At first i just felt alittle prink which was painless. and didnt feel anything after that. Just the medicine going down your spine which again isnt painful. Plus i was in alot of pain that nothing else seem painful to me..hehe.

Yes! I had a spinal though, it was a cold feeling like ice water tricking down my spine. It stung a little. I jerked my back and fucked it up. My right ass cheek was numb for almost 5 months!!! lmao

The only thing that bothered me were the numbing shots. My back spazzed out while he was poking me and I jerked forward. The guy got pissed lol. But as soon as that kicked in, I didnt feel anything but pressure. I never had any problems with the epi except when the pitocin overpowered it. They upped my doseage of epi and from there on I was good to go.

I don't remember actually feeling it... It was hard to stay in the position that they wanted, because in that area my back in senstive to touch... But I made sure I did because I didn't want whatever could happen to happen.

Oh man.... BY FAR the WORST part of labor for my first. That was the MOST painful thing I've EVER felt. HATED it... I'm praying this one goes allot better!!!

Ya i jerked aliitle too at first. But it was painless. And my epi wore out also when i had the pitocin. My dosage what all the up to 10. or however you explain it..hehe
